What’s the most expensive 6 pack of beers in the world is open for debate. America’s favourite way to buy beers is in a six-pack. With cheap beer, you might as well sell in 6 packs. People drink a lot of it and it’s easy to carry, to finish, to share.
Sapporo Space Barley
The most expensive true six pack was made in Japan by Sapporo Breweries Ltd . It was a one-off run of beer made using malt made 100% from “space barley,” the progenies of spaceflight barley seeds. This limited offer was exclusive to Internet sales and residents of Japan and proceeds went to charity. Only 250 customers were selected from a lottery to purchase the new “SAPPORO Space Barley,”. The barley was sent to space to the International Space Station in a joined mission between the Russian Academy of Sciences and Okayama University.
At the price of $110/six-pack it is actually quite “affordable”

Stella Artois Nobilis
The world’s most expensive six-packwas sold at an auction for WildAid, an organization dedicated to stopping the demand for endangered species products. The six bottles sold were 1.5 liter magnums of Nobilis, Stella Artois’s special edition brand. Contrary to the Sapporo six pack (above) the exuberant price wasn’t for the beers alone, but also for the autographs by A-list film celebrities. Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron and Woody Harrelson (same bottle), Bo Derek, Ryan Gosling and Samuel L. Jackson are among the celebrities that signed the bottle.
Sold at auction for 15,000 CDN ($14,851 USD)
Even more expensive
There are even more expensive beers, but they don’t come as a six pack.
