The owner is Gino Clicque, a Belgian breeder from Wevelgem, who is currently auctioning off all of his pigeons online
The auction website
Gino introduced some direct Gaby Vandenabeele pigeons in his breed as well, and these have enabled him to win several national ace pigeon titles KBDB and national first prizes in recent years. Gino is at the height of his career and he has now decided to sell his entire pigeon family (2015 and older) on PIPA in one of this year’s most spectacular auctions. We bring you some of the best pigeons from Belgium in what promises to be one of our most sensational auctions ever
Pigeon racing involves releasing specially trained pigeons which then return to their homes over measured distance.
It requires a specific breed of pigeon, called the ‘Racing Homer’.
The sport has always been popular in Belgium, achieving great popularity in the mid 19th Century.
